Stuart McCloskey "The quality of the bouquet is outstanding – it’s one of those wines that demands respect and makes you work to unlock its inner beauty. I strongly advise on a 3-4 hour decant. The interplay between fruit and savouriness is genius. Cassis melds with the sea (kelp). Heady, wild hedgerow fruits are lifted by beautiful florals. The transportation continues. Imagine brushing through a fresh sage bush - intoxicating and earthy… Black olive tapenade too. This takes black licorice to another depth. Bottomless aromatics. It’s like being in a Tardis… I would genuinely pay the money just to spend a few hours swirling and inhaling. Clearly, a wine built for the cellar (at least 15+ years). For now, you will have to make do with layers of plush mulberry, cassis, which are wrapped in a warming embrace of sweet spice, anise and wild thyme. This wine delivers purity and composure. There’s as much latent power as sheer beauty – a very serious and intelligently crafted wine. True winemaking, if you like, and a direct link to its home. This is beautiful and drinks like one of those hard-to-put-down novels. Served with a huge smile on my face and lots of fabulous memories (Zalto Bordeaux stemware too)."

- In Bond: Exclude UK Duty and VAT, and can either be delivered to a UK bonded warehouse in the UK, or released for international delivery.
- Duty Paid: UK Duty @ £26.78 per 9 litres and VAT @ 20% has been paid.
Wines are only available in whole, unmixed cases unless otherwise stated.
